Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Huntington-WV. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, performing various clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations in the medical facility.
Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures Handle patient inquiries and provide information on healthcare services Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits Maintain patient medical records and ensure confidentiality Assist with medical billing and coding tasks Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Proficiency in basic computer skills
