ED Tech ER Full Time Nights Position Summary The Emergency Dept Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the emergency department and related areas. This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed. May require prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECG's. The ED Tech ER Full Time Nights candidate will possess the following education, license/certifications, and experience. Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Minimum experience: One year of experience in as a nursing assistant; or in lieu of experience, Current CNA certificate, or LNA license from the Arizona State Board of Nursing; or Completed block one/first year of nursing school; or Current EMT-B certification; or Completion of formal PCA/T/ED Tech education program from an accredited institution. Preferred experience: Six months experience in a hospital or emergency room setting as a Unit Secretary, EMT or CNA. Required certifications/licensure: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or meet minimum experience requirements; CPR. Preferred certifications/registration: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), CPR.
