Locksmith II

The position of Locksmith II will maintain all doors, door closures, and locks/panic devices. Make repairs when needed. Set up new master key systems and change locks when the need arises to maintain the highest security required for offices, labs, drug cabinets, and change safe combinations. Issue keys to University personnel and students; and maintain good records of the people to whom keys are issued by updating the computer records. Calibrate and align locksmith tools. Repair and install Commercial type lock hardware. Experience on setting up A2 and A4 Best and Schlage Primus Master Key Systems. Programming, installing and repairing standalone electronic locks. Input data in computer system daily. This position will work on all campuses. Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
