Samaritan Behavioral Health provides short-term behavioral health services in a school setting, including diagnostic assessments, individual and family therapy, meeting MH minutes on IEPs, and crisis intervention. They collaborate with patients and families to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing behavioral health concerns. The therapist assists in managing symptoms and behaviors linked to the identified diagnoses and helps families navigate personal and environmental challenges that impact social functioning in the home and school environment. They deliver clinical services to the patient, their family, and other significant individuals, working independently but also collaborating with other providers when needed. The therapist is expected to be well-organized, demonstrate the organization's values through effective communication, and provide high-quality care to patients and their families and the schools we serve. Qualifications
Education: Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelors degree in a relevant social sciences field such as counseling, social work, or rehabilitation.
