is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

to provide essential clinical and administrative support in healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will enhance the efficiency of patient care delivery and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within clinics or medical offices.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms, assist physicians during examinations, and perform basic clinical procedures. Take vital signs, collect patient histories, and update electronic medical records (EMRs). Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. Conduct routine laboratory tests and specimen collection, including phlebotomy if certified. Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification. Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control protocols. Deliver patient education on medications, treatments, and general health practices.

Qualifications

Completion of a Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). CPR/BLS certification required. Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficient with EMR systems and general office equipment.
