Senior Research Imaging Program Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Research Imaging Program Manager to oversee the strategic planning and execution of research initiatives at a state-of-the-art Imaging Center. This position is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing a research program focused on radioisotope-based imaging technologies. The role involves executing research strategies and ensuring the successful advancement of all studies while liaising with academic researchers, healthcare professionals, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to foster collaboration and drive impactful discoveries aimed at improving patient outcomes. Responsibilities

Manage and execute all research imaging studies. Collaborate with principal investigators and senior leadership to develop and refine program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables for grant-funded research initiatives. Manage the day-to-day operations of all projects. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to principal investigators and senior leadership. Oversee the timelines and submission deadlines of research proposals, grants, and publications. Work closely with clinical, preclinical, regulatory, and data management teams to ensure integrated and efficient research efforts. Manage partnerships and collaborations with key external partners. Oversee the financial aspects of research projects, ensuring that they remain within budget and are cost-effective. Identify resource needs and work with internal teams to ensure appropriate allocation of personnel and funding. Cultivate relationships with funding agencies, stakeholders, and donors to support ongoing and future projects. Required Skills & Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical imaging, neuroscience, biophysics, engineering, or a related field) Minimum of 5 years of experience in research program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a research facility Strong understanding of imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, PET, CT) in both preclinical and clinical research Proven ability to manage complex research projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of individuals Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, with the requirement to be in the office for pivotal meetings, likely less than twice a month. The ideal candidate will be located between Baltimore and Raleigh or be willing to relocate to the Richmond area.
