Sales Manager
A 4th-generation, nearly 100-year-old company, family-run precision manufacturer / sheet metal fabrication company is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead their sales function and drive strategic growth. This is an opportunity to shape and build the entire commercial approach at a business that prides itself on high-quality tube fabrication, exceptional on-time delivery, and long-standing customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the assigned region. Develop business in both new and existing accounts. Start in a player coach role managing a team of two. Work closely with reps, and team to achieve sales plans and targets. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the region, including new customer acquisition and existing customer growth. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs. Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed. Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote our client's products and build brand awareness. Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field. 2-5+ years of technical sales leadership experience. 5+ years of technical sales experience preferably in sheet metal fabrication. Prior leadership capacity or ability to develop into a leader a huge plus. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the assigned region. Must be willing and able to go onsite in Naperville / Aurora Illinois Area. What's on Offer
