The primary areas of responsibility of the faculty position include active participation in teaching, research, and patient care. Qualifications include an MD degree or equivalent, and applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for Board certification in Dermatology as set forth by the American Board of Dermatology. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated expertise in didactic and clinical teaching, scholarship, and research. Academic rank and salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and commensurate with level of experience. The candidate must possess excellent personal and communication skills to relate to administrative and clinical staff, faculty, and senior leadership. They must display initiative, a positive humanistic attitude, the ability to adapt to change, and embrace evidence-based care, modern technology, and innovation in learning. Review of candidates will begin immediately. Additional Job Description: Physical requirements include the ability to perform job functions in an upright, seated, and walking/mobile positions frequently; work indoors continuously; work outdoors in all weather and temperature extremes infrequently; work in confined/cramped spaces infrequently; perform job functions from kneeling positions infrequently; perform 'pinching' operations infrequently; use both hands/arms frequently; perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders frequently; reach in all directions frequently; maintain tactile sensory functions continuously; maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes continuously; see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance frequently; determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception continuously; maintain hearing acuity, with correction continuously; and perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements.
