Job Description
Leads the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of Magnet program initiatives. Collaborates with nursing leaders, interprofessional teams, and stakeholders to ensure Magnet principles are embedded throughout the organization. Maintains deep knowledge of ANCC Magnet standards and guide the organization in evidence submission and readiness evaluations. Oversees data collection, documentation, and reporting for empirical outcomes, nursing excellence, and patient care delivery. Mentors and educates staff on the Magnet Model, professional development, and shared governance. Manages Magnet project timelines, budgets, and communication with ANCC representatives. Facilitates continuous quality improvement and foster a culture of innovation in nursing practice. Education: Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required. DNP or PhD is preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting is required. Demonstrated expertise in shared governance, nursing quality improvement, and professional practice models. Prior experience in Magnet document preparation and/or survey coordination strongly preferred. Qualifications: Visionary leader with exceptional organizational, communication, and change management skills. Data-savvy with the ability to interpret and apply performance outcomes.
