Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age. Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy. Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience performing non-professional, consumer-directed services in mental health, health care, or social service agency. One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred. Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets, preferred. Ability to physically assist in lifting and carrying food service supplies and equipment without restriction. SERV Safe Food Handler Certification How You Will Make A Difference: This position has primary responsibility for coaching clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); preparing meals, snacks, shopping for food, and other various life skills. Assist with and supervise meal preparation in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and the facilities are maintained in a safe and clean manner. Assist with client laundry, household cleaning and other tasks as needed. This position performs a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean, orderly, sanitary and attractive condition. Division/Program Overview: The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility tailored to adults aged 18-59 experiencing psychiatric crises. Its purpose is to provide a safe environment for stabilization, recovery, and community transition. Services offered include round-the-clock programs, therapeutic and mental health services, rehabilitation and recovery support (including substance use rehabilitation), pre-vocational or vocational counseling, medication evaluation and support, daily exercise, health/wellness education, and crisis intervention.
