Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree Certifications, Licenses, or Registration Required: N/A Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial aid services Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Responsibilities Informs students of the requirements for completing the financial aid application process. Advises and explains to prospective and current students available financial aid packages. Maintains a working knowledge of relevant federal and state student loan and grant regulations. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial aid issues. Participates in various financial aid organizations to ensure training and certification are current. Liaise with other departments to help resolve financial aid issues. Assist the Director with projects, maintaining student contracts and institutional reporting. The duties listed are general in nature and are examples of the duties and responsibilities performed and are not meant to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Physical and Environmental Demands: Requires occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, occasional travelling to offsite locations, frequent activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, occasional bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional driving, occasional pushing/pulling, occasional reaching, constant sitting, occasional standing, occasional twisting, and occasional walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more) Time Type:
