Located at 195 Worcester Street Wellesley, MA, our Internal Medicine/Adult Primary Care practice delivers a full range of preventive and health maintenance care. We not only treat a range of acute and chronic health problems, but we also coordinate our patients' care when they need treatment by specialists. Job Summary

Our Medical Assistants play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to clinical support, the Medical Assistant ensures a smooth patient flow within the practice and assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physician or advanced practitioner. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice on-site Monday through Friday 9:00am- 5:30pm. Responsibilities include coordinating pre-visit preparations, escorting patients to the exam rooms and taking vital signs, performing a variety of patient care procedures, maintaining confidentiality of patient records, and more. Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred. Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] required. Experience: Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, accuracy and attention to detail, compliance with privacy and confidentiality rules, proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, and more. Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1 year professional experience National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT Remote Type
