A Security Guard contributes to AHF by being responsible for protecting the company's assets and ensuring the safety of its staff, tenants, contractors, guests, and visitors at AHF's sites, including Healthy Housing (HHF) properties. In this role, you will leverage your training in security and you will be in charge of implementing strategies that protect our personnel and assets (including inventory of donations) at our healthy Housing tenant facility. You will have full responsibility for implementing policies and procedures designed to achieve this important mission. A Security Guard enhances the reputation of AHF by being friendly, professional, and disciplined in the performance of their duties, recognizing potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as a Security Guard, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Security Guard will work as a part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain working relationships with the Healthy Housing operational staff to ensure a safe and secure environment. Finally, you will utilize the existing Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit detailed reports regarding events and situations that occur while on duty. In this role you will have the opportunity to add consistent value to AHF/HHF by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday: 6am-6pm Licenses and Certifications: Active Security Guard Card is required. AHF Commitment
