Great American's Embedded Solutions group is a newly established team focused on launching innovative insurance products such as Travel, Tenant Homeowners, Ticket, and Cargo in partnership with third-party program administrators. As the team continues to grow, they are seeking an Associate Product Analyst, Product Analyst, or Senior Product Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, and a passion for driving success in an entrepreneurial environment. This position will be located in our Cincinnati, OH office and will work on a hybrid schedule. Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

Supports new product launches to enhance premium volume growth, and ensures the competitiveness and profitability of existing products. Collaborates with underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and claims teams to assist in designing innovative insurance solutions and developing product specifications, pricing strategies, and policy language. Conducts market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Participates in developing product revisions and collaborates with filings team to complete filing submissions. Maintains documentation of all filed and approved rates, rules, and forms by product and program. Monitors regulatory compliance updates by line of business and makes applicable changes as needed. Coordinates rate, rule, and form implementation updates with off-system partners. Performs routine testing and verification efforts to ensure accuracy of partner implementations. Produces monthly performance reports on assigned products, providing insights into profitability, growth areas, and loss drivers. Analyzes data to identify key profitability drivers and presents findings visually by product and program. Leverages technical skills to automate or optimize manual processes to improve the unit's operational efficiency. Contributes in the evaluation of new product and program opportunities. May assist in IT projects to onboard new partners as a business resource. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience. Experience:

Generally, a minimum of 3 years of related underwriting or product experience. Personal lines experience strongly preferred. Experience with technical or data management/visualization tools strongly preferred (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Beginning or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Associate in Underwriting (AU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Program in General Insurance (INS), Associate of Risk Management (ARM), Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) or other applicable designations. Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and personal lines of business. Develops and maintains knowledge of industry laws and regulations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and visually present findings. Possesses ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-changing environment as part of a newly established unit within the company. Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Position may require occasional travel. Business Unit:
