Anesthesia Technician
Under general supervision of a licensed anesthesiologist or certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). Responsible for providing supervision to the anesthesia technicians / technologist in assisting the anesthesiologist / anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia in main surgery department as well as satellite areas including, endoscopy, MCVI procedure rooms, pediatric procedure room, intensive care unit, obstetrics, emergency room, and imaging services. Adheres to Universal Precautions in all clinical areas. Provides support to routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparations and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia. Estimated pay range for this position is $25.74 - $33.46 / hour depending on experience. Qualifications
Degrees: High School or GED Licenses & Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Basic Life Support. ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician. Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Additional Qualifications: EMT Paramedic desirable. Anesthesia Technologist Certification desired. Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician or graduated from an accredited Anesthesia Technologist program. Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
