Adjunct Faculty Member For Gross Anatomy Lab
The School of Physician Assistant Studies, Boston seeks an adjunct faculty member to work as a lab instructor in the Gross Anatomy Lab. The instructor will deliver high quality learning experiences and education for students in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program. The selected candidate will have responsibilities teaching Gross Anatomy to graduate students. This includes teaching anatomy by dissection of human cadavers in lab. Subject matters may include anatomy of the head and neck, anatomy of the thorax, anatomy of the abdomen, and anatomy of the extremities. Responsibilities include: Deliver lectures for the didactic portion of the course (~6 hours per week) in the Spring Semester Deliver laboratory instruction in person, in the Human Cadaver Lab for the School of Physician Assistant Studies Create course goals and learning objectives Use the University's learning management system (BlackBoard) to post items such as lecture slides, learning objectives, and syllabus as well as communicate with students and post grades Create, administer, proctor and grade multiple choice exams using ExamSoft Advise and assist students through office hours or scheduled appointments, by video conference, phone or email, and through other University-approved mechanisms Assist in the coordination of cadaver delivery, and lab set-up Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor
