The College of Education is seeking applicants for an adjunct instructor in the Department of Educational Leadership to teach one or more online classes in the M.Ed. in School Administration program. The candidate will be required to obtain Northeastern State University's online educator's certification. Teaching assignments are not guaranteed each semester and will be assigned on an as-needed basis. Primary Responsibility The successful candidate will teach online graduate education courses in the M.Ed. in School Administration program as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Facilitate asynchronous online courses, guiding learners through pre-designed curriculum. Engage students by fostering an interactive and supportive online learning environment, providing timely feedback, and promoting active participation. Evaluate assignments based on predetermined criteria and offer constructive feedback for learner growth. Communicate with students regularly, answering questions promptly, and collaborating with program faculty as needed. Experience Experience as a building principal or assistant principal is required, as well as teaching experience in pK-12. Preferred qualifications include online college-level teaching experience. Education Requirements Qualified candidates will have a master's degree with a minimum of 18 hours of EDUC coursework or a terminal degree in education from an accredited institution. Certification as a building principal from a state department of education (Oklahoma certification preferred) is required. Certification as a superintendent from a state department of education (Oklahoma certification preferred) is preferred.
