Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Develop and manage detailed test cases for propulsion system behavior, on-road drive modes, on-road gradability, and towing performance as well as suitable drive cycles ensuring comprehensive coverage of existing vehicle-level and system-level requirements Translate existing propulsion and towing-related requirements into executable test procedures and validation plans for vehicle-level evaluation Collaborating with stakeholders and system architects to define, develop and deliver a comprehensive requirements roadmap - from definition to testing and sign-off - for each Scout vehicle project on whole vehicle level (voice of the customer) Lead and coordinate validation trips and test campaigns, both at proving grounds and public road networks, ensuring execution of relevant drive mode, towing, and gradability evaluations under representative and extreme conditions Drive test execution and data collection using appropriate tools and instrumentation setups, including managing preconditioning, route design, logging strategies, and environmental controls. Ensure strong traceability between test cases and requirements using systems like Codebeamer or Jira, and maintain accurate status reporting for requirement validation Analyze test results and vehicle behavior related to torque delivery, drive mode transitions, grade capability, and towing dynamicsidentifying deviations, risks, and system performance gaps. Collaborate closely with propulsion, controls, software, and vehicle integration teams to communicate test findings, support issue triage, and drive resolution of validation blockers Document validation results and provide clear input into release and sign-off decisions, including test reports, anomaly tracking, and sign-off matrix updates Support planning and logistics for trip execution, including vehicle preparation, equipment checklists, scheduling, and coordination with external test sites Assisting in the integration of a system engineering mindset and working procedures. Partnering with other concept and systems architect teams to develop solutions for engineering and functional challenges. Here's what else you'll bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field. 4+ years of experience in technical requirements management, with a preference for experience in the automotive industry. Experience in writing requirements and managing change requests Experience in working knowledge of requirements tools (Jama, Polarion, Doors, MagicDraw, Codebeamer) Working knowledge of the US legal and governance systems (federal and state), including a deep understanding of regulatory authorities with jurisdiction over the automobile industry and safety regulations. Solid understanding of vehicle development and products tailored to automotive-specific requirements, with a focus on enhancing delivery quality, security, and developer experience. Experience in developing and testing products that meet automotive-grade standards and comply with industry regulations. Strong interpersonal skills, including ownership, self-motivation, problem-solving, analytical thinking, teamwork, innovation, creativity, and effective communication abilities. This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent. Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 Internal leveling code: IC9 Notice to Applicants
