As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide structured support, mentorship, and crisis intervention while maintaining healthy boundaries. Your crisis management, emergency response, and trauma-informed care skills make you an ideal fit for this role. Responsibilities

Guide teens through challenges using verbal de-escalation and safe intervention techniques. Foster a supportive, structured atmosphere, serving as a positive role model. Communicate key observations and updates to the Program Director. Document daily progress to track and celebrate client growth. Encourage participation in daily routines (ADLs) and teach healthy coping strategies with empathy. Qualifications

Age: 21+ Education: High school diploma or GED required; degree in psychology, human services, or a related field preferred. Experience: 1+ year working with adolescents preferred. Certifications: CPR & First Aid preferred (training provided). Requirements: Must pass a drug screening, background check, and hold a valid driver's license per Virginia state laws. Benefits
