Responsibilities
Demonstrate the ability to perform assistive duties in the L&D area under the direction of the RN Responsible for the preparation, disbursement of surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation pre-, intra-, and post-operatively Demonstrate knowledge of principles of asepsis Assume responsibility for clinical competence and professional development Demonstrate knowledge of the Infant Security Plan Transports stable newborn via crib within the Woman's and Children's departments Participate in the responsible management of all departmental resources Qualifications
Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician course or equivalent Current BLS certification Preferred Job Requirements: Certified Surgical Technologist preferred but will consider LPN with 1-2 experience in a similar position One year of operating room experience
