Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pay Rate: $27 - $30 DOE Location: San Jose, CA Position Type: Full-Time Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR's full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Perform daily maintenance tasks in a Laboratory and/or manufacturing environment. Perform Preventive Maintenance or troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment. Work near or on equipment with hazardous chemicals. Adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety, quality, and effective team communication. Wear the required cleanroom, respirator, or other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Use basic hand, power, and special tools and equipment. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to work independently or within a team structure. Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely. Ability to push 100-200 lb. work carts. Ability to support a 12-hour day or night compressed work schedule. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to use Microsoft Office or other business-type software. Preferred: 0-2 years in a manufacturing plant support, laboratory support, or mechanical facilities support. Experience with Pressure vessels, Furnaces, and various vacuum equipment preferred. Experience with PLC systems and automation equipment preferred. Physical Effort/Activities: May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
