I'm partnered with a well-established construction firm near Hinsdale, IL that was ranked Chicago Tribune's Top Work Places 6 years in a row! As the company continues to grow, they're seeking a Controller to join their team. Reporting directly into the CFO, the Controller will oversee both the general ledger accounting and projects while managing a team of 4. The long-term goal for this person will be to take over and progress into a Regional Controllership level. Controller Responsibilities: Manage a team of four individuals across project and general accounting Oversee and approve entries for month-end close and provide to senior leadership Partner with private equity partners on corporate reporting tools Partner with outsourced accounting firm on improvements for the accounting procedures Partner with finance department for budgeting, planning and forecasting MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
