Days to be determined by hiring manager and student Job Description: Learning Objectives: Are you looking for a meaningful on-campus job that builds your skills while supporting students? Join the Student Life Pantry team at Western Campus! As a student employee in The Pantry, you'll help create a welcoming, respectful environment for Pantry guests while gaining hands-on experience in customer service, inventory management, and administrative support. Key Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes: As part of The Pantry team, you will: Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with respect, empathy, and professionalism in a food pantry setting. Gain experience managing inventory by receiving donations, restocking shelves, and implementing basic inventory control practices. Develop office and administrative skills through tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling. Maintain accurate records and assist in generating reports related to Pantry usage and engagement initiatives. Build your teamwork and problem-solving skills by working collaboratively with other student employees and staff. Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester; Maintain satisfactory academic progress; Adhere to College's confidentiality policy; Successfully pass background/drug screening; Answer phone and take messages; Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing; Open and sort mail; Strong interpersonal communication skills; Willingness to learn new technology; Assist with special projects; Other duties as assigned.
