Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting. Minimum Requirements: Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant required One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred Pediatric experience preferred Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Amergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has served our clients and communities by connecting people to the work that matters since 1988.
