In this exciting role as a Medical Affairs, Senior Program Manager, you will partner with the Enterprise Accounts & Strategic Channels commercial organization to engage with clinical stakeholders from the largest U.S. hospital/healthcare systems. Your responsibilities include developing relationships with senior health system administrative and clinical stakeholders and identifying opportunities and clinical strategies leveraging the breadth of Medtronic's portfolio to deliver unique value and meet shared needs. This role will be accountable for cross-functional teamwork, understanding the value of Medtronic products and services, and assessing and pursuing clinical collaboration and growth opportunities with US health system clinical stakeholders on behalf of Medtronic. This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require up to 50% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Relationships
Identify, develop, and grow relationships with key clinical and executive stakeholders within designated U.S. hospitals/health systems (COO-CMO-CNO-Medical Directors-Service Line Executives). Engage with clinical customers to maximize the relationship with Medtronic and increase clinical collaboration opportunities with a specific focus on improving patient access and outcomes. As appropriate, formalize partnerships through innovative models. Partner closely with the Enterprise Accounts organization (Senior Managing Directors and Directors of Enterprise Accounts) to develop and execute business plan strategies focused on clinical collaboration, patient access, and clinical outcomes. Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams including operating unit and functional partners, marketing, R&D, legal, clinical research and other teams. Partner with advisory services, healthcare economics, and marketing teams to articulate clinical and economic value propositions provided by the Medtronic portfolio. Strategy
Understand the unique and multi-faceted challenges of U.S. hospital/health systems. Tailor approach and value proposition to varying priorities of C-Suite executives and clinical leaders. Recognize clinical opportunities and develop collaborations that will lead to improved patient access, outcomes and cost savings by leveraging the unique clinical and economic value propositions provided by the Medtronic portfolio. Partner with the Enterprise Accounts and Strategic Channels organization to co-develop strategic business plans that span Medtronic businesses, identify relevant clinical opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and establish a clear action plan for success based on unique customer needs. Ensure internal collaboration and communication on specific account level collaborations, strategies, objectives, and timelines. Communication
Provide subject matter expertise on changing health care dynamics and the clinical opportunities with enterprise-level customer. Proactively share best practices with internal stakeholders. Novel Strategies and Creativity
Advise on development of strategy and execution of partnership initiatives that leverage multiple businesses within enterprise level accounts. Identify opportunities to leverage Medtronics capabilities to help customers optimize access and clinical and economic outcomes. Lead and advise on the development of innovative ideas to support Medtronic strategies and coordinate activities to address clinical opportunities and challenges. Identify innovative models to formalize partnerships. Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree plus 7+ years of relevant hospital/health system clinical or executive leadership experience (5+ years with an advanced degree) Desired Qualifications
