Quality Control Inspector
Conduct various quality control activities and assist with the application and monitoring of established processes and methods. Inspect and evaluate received/installed equipment and ensure the highest level of quality for final products. Responsible for reviewing and understanding job specifications for quality-related scopes. Be familiar with various types of testing equipment and how to interpret results. Responsibilities: Review and understand job specifications for quality-related scopes Review and understand job drawings (flow diagrams, boundaries, etc.) Review and understand job submissions Implement QC plan for specific projects Perform receiving inspections of material and equipment Verify component verification of major equipment per approved submissions Writes EA S worldwide documentation Oversee the installation of all mechanical scopes including sub-contract work Verify all mechanical testing, flushing, and cleaning is executed per contract documents Implement non-conformance and correct actions per project requirements Maintain an overview documentation throughout project in hard and digital formats Communicating responsibilities (when applicable): Writes factory acceptance testing on mechanical equipment Coordinate pipe flushing, cleaning, and disinfesting (sometimes with third party vendor) Coordinate mechanical start-up activities with suppliers and contractors Coordinate commissioning activities with (third party) Cx group, EA S support, client, and other sub-contractors Education: Minimum of two (2) year business, construction management, or mechanical engineering degree Certified World Class Inspector (CWI) is desirable Hands-on or on-the-job training is available when necessary as well as continued education training Skills: Good documentation practices (GDP) Ability to read/interpret metric drawings, schematics, and flow diagrams Familiar with various types of testing equipment Professional and positive attitude Open-minded with a vision for continuous improvement Ability to take on more responsibilities as the business grows.
