Location: Dallas - Hospital Time Type: Full time Job Posting Title: Planning Analytics And Strategy Program Manager Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities: In conjunction with the Senior Planning Analyst, use demographic reporting, market sizing, and forecasting software to perform market analysis; analyze reports based on the project assigned, install updates to software as needed Evaluate referral market data to understand referral patterns and trends; provide potential referral sources for physician outreach Prepare and design spreadsheets, graphics, and maps for presentations Maintain integrity of all databases, to include troubleshooting measures such as identification of error elements with notification of in-house source or outside vendor Use Scottish Rite software programs to create reports from the state comparative database; analyze and interprets information, present findings as necessary Maintain and analyze market share spreadsheets and forecasting of data Analyze internal data to identify issues and trends Coordinate submission of the Joint Annual Report of Hospitals as required by the Texas State Department of Health Monitor and communicate health care trends and current events Interface with the Epic reporting team Compile and distribute clinical volume data and analysis trends Adhere to all Scottish Rite and departmental policies and procedures, objectives and quality assurance programs Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise Attend meetings as required and participates on committees as directed Required Skills/Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field of study required Master's degree preferred Must possess demonstrated written and interpersonal communication skills Minimum 3 years of work experience preferred, preferably in a health care setting Must have spreadsheet and database computer skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a timely fashion required Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access Experience with Truven Health Analytics Market Expert and Epic preferred Understanding of ICD-9-CM diagnosis and procedure coding, and DRG payment system Background and/or working knowledge of health care industry preferred
