IT Business Services Manager
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Business Services Manager at our Newtown Square, PA location to work closely with your team consisting of strong SAP technical consultants and other managers, teams and functions in the SAP ECS organization to deliver world class SAP services to the customers. Manage customers and resource in an efficient way. Ensure business critical and innovative results. Manage strategic partnerships with customers. Delivering and managing SAP IT operations (build, implementation, and run phases of SAP projects). Represent SAP to customers; find common ground for customer, team, project success. Create an environment that encourages customer-focused innovation and risk taking. Engage in continuous, professional, open and honest conversations. Set challenging development goals. Measure and reward based on performance. Take decisive action and empower others to do the same. Actively seeks to coach and help with personal development. Business Operations Improvement - Improve Business Services and Business Operations. Understands the customer business, goals, and challenges in order to suggest SAP solutions and services. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must involve four (4) years in the following: S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools; Technical planning, implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP solutions; Understand the customer business, goals, and challenges to suggest SAP solutions and services; Business Operations Improvement, including Improve Business Services and Business Operations; De-escalation activities; Interface with customers finding common ground for customer, team and project success; and Contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks. Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.
