What you'll be doing: This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the Guaynabo facility, grounds, and equipment. Lead and coordinate the activities of Maintenance, Company Fleet, Communications, Security and Facilities to ensure that work/projects are completed within time, cost, and quality constraints; and to ensure efficient daily performance of manufacturing equipment. Perform all duties focusing on optimizing Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. The successful candidate will drive innovation and continuous improvement, able to work independently and closely with facility operations, engineering, and quality groups to resolve issues. This shift is Monday to Friday 8 am

5 pm. It is customary to provide service on an emergency basis, including overtime, weekends, and during facility shutdowns. Out-of-town travel may be required to attend seminars, and visit equipment vendors or other Baxter facilities. Identification of resourcing needs and running cost-benefit analysis for decisions regarding facility and energy resources. Identification of cost reduction opportunities through extended parts life, reduce labor cost, and other cost improvement techniques. Manages equipment and coordinates preventive and planned maintenance as required. Initiate work orders, review current PMs, verify parts are in stock and complete PMs on time. Support plant wide strategic plan initiatives and projects. Initiate and support capital project processes for all investments for or related to the facility. Manages housekeeping, company fleet, company cell phone, and security activities across the facility, including liaison with applicable third-party contractors. Maintain inventory of required housekeeping supplies, working with procurement to source supplies, maintain buildings, rest rooms and meeting rooms required by Baxter requirements. Responsible for pest control program in Baxter Guaynabo. Serve as primary facility contact for inspections, including hot work permits, facility sprinkler system maintenance, testing and impairment programs, among others. Responsible for audit report responses and coordination of closing associated action items in a timely manner. Support, review and handle non-conformances, preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and develop and update SOPs. Work with landlord, contractors, and vendors to establish and maintain contract service agreements. Negotiates and support procurement to issue and maintain contracts and service agreements for the purchase of supplies, equipment, and services. Evaluate equipment data to ensure manufacturing processes and environments are in control per established frequencies and specifications. Ensure site complies to Baxter, state and federal health and safety regulations. Ensure continuous operation of facilities and equipment within design parameters to meet regulatory requirements. What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Field and previous experience in related field is preferred. 2 - 3 years of experience as coordinator, GMP environment or building and facility maintenance Qualifications: Fully Bilingual Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office excel, Word and PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal skills Strong Supervisory skills Demonstrate initiative and analytical skills Strong organizational skills Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, with proven ability to implement changes. Team orientation is required to fulfill multifunctional responsibilities. Ability to prioritize and manage several ongoing issues, meet deadlines, and communicate with senior management is crucial. Knowledge of basic contract and negotiation skills Knowledge of plant systems, GMP facility critical systems and building codes is required.
