JCREW Instructor
Bowhead is seeking a highly motivated JCREW Instructor to support a proposal effort for the Weapons Systems Training Branch at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing high-quality, mission-focused training solutions for advanced weapon systems used by the U.S. Navy and other defense stakeholders. Qualifications: High School diploma and five plus (5+) instructional development experience. Must have basic instructor and safety requirements certifications. Must have statement of understanding acknowledging compliance with the requirements of the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act 1968. Must be able to pass a medical screening, psychological evaluation (in accordance with commercially available screening guide such as the Minnesota Multi-Phasic Inventory) Certified Level 1 and 2 RCM developer - Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) Navy. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically Security Clearance Requirements: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
