Summary: The Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of a community home, community participation support services or community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the delegation of work, assignment of duties, completion of tasks of direct support staff and for supporting the principles and values of self-determination, in accordance with Community Services Group policies and applicable regulations. The Program Supervisor reports directly to the Program Manager. This position is part of our Adult Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Community Home Services. CSG's Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD/ASD) Services is excited to offer a 2 week paid orientation for this position. Orientation includes the necessary foundational training needed before providing services in the programs and sets you up for a successful career at CSG. CPR, First Aid, Welle (Behavioral Safety Management Training), and Medication Administration are a few of the topics covered. Orientation is held in-person at our Mountville, Williamsport, and Bethlehem offices, Monday to Friday during daytime hours. Mileage reimbursement is provided for orientation related travel. Wage Information: Base Rate $20.00/hr. with increase possible based on relevant IDD experience. $1/hr. shift differential for awake overnight hours (10 PM to 6 AM) & weekend hours (Fri. at 5 PM to Sun. at 10 PM). Job Description: Serve as the direct supervisor of the direct support staff and assist in interviewing, hiring, orienting and training. Participate in the company's on-call system (Community Homes and Community-Based Program Supervisors only). Ensure the health, safety and welfare of the individuals within the program. Coordinate and ensure the development of schedules, activities and routines and actively promote opportunities for individuals to participate in community integrated activities. Transport and/or coordinate transportation for individuals in personal or company vehicles for meetings, appointments or community activities. Serve as an active member of the service team in the coordination of services and communicate relevant information to families and other professionals as necessary. Oversee and maintain records pertaining to inventory, both for company owned property and possessions belonging to individuals. Account for all individual funds and petty cash funds; maintain an adequate supply of funds for the individuals and the home. Adhere to the program budget for food, household and operating supplies. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics. Perform job responsibilities of direct care staff. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year working experience in programs for individuals with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additional requirements include: Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
