Overview We are looking for a Sales Associate to join us Saturday, Sunday and Mondays!The Sales Associate is a friendly, customer-focused individual with genuine enthusiasm for the Aviator Nation lifestyle and products. Job Summary The Sales Associate is responsible for welcoming and helping all customers and will offer first-class service and product solutions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. They will exercise empathy and tact to address challenging customer situations. They are constantly updating their knowledge of the products, services, and policies while maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays. Key Responsibilities Greet customers, responding to questions, improve engagement with merchandise and provide outstanding customer serviceLearn product knowledge (SKU's, fit, and more)Demonstrate superb product knowledge and servicesOperate cash register and Point of Sales system (POS)Manage financial transactions including sales, process returns and exchanges, and balance drawersAchieve established goalsDirect customers to merchandise within the storeIncrease in store salesIntroduce promotions and opportunities to customersCross-sell products to increase purchase amountsMaintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floorAssist with incoming and outgoing shipmentsConduct inventory countEnsure floor restock happens as neededAssist with other purchase ordersShare knowledge with team membersAssist with omni-channel sales and fulfillment processUnder the direction of the Store Manager and company guidelines, assist with social media posts in various ways such as take photos, assist with photoshoots, and model clothing Skills, Abilities & Requirements Abide to available and agreed schedule Ability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays Excellent verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to maintain a professional appearance and follow store's dress codeMaintain a positive attitude, high energy, and focus on customer satisfactionAbility to read, write, and perform basic mathAbility to confidently operate office equipment such as computers, printers and telephones Physical Requirements & Working Conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
