Senior Executive Assistant To President, Arch Capital Group Ltd.
Location: NYC (Grace Bldg). The Senior Executive Assistant to the President provides administrative support to the President of Arch Capital Group Ltd. and his direct reports, as assigned. Frequently handles details of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. They exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Job Responsibilities: Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals. Proactively and effectively manages Executives' daily calendars, making appointments, travel arrangements, and various other scheduling requirements. Act as a bridge between the president and other executives, departments, and external stakeholders. Creates annual corporate calendar, maintains, updates and distributes as required. Manages meeting/Conference Room scheduling and prepare briefing materials, agendas, and follow-up action items. Prioritizes and filters messages, mail, and meetings to achieve maximum efficiency to the extent requested by Executives. Forwards issues for handling as appropriate to other departments or executives. Maintains expense management and has responsibility for Cost Center associated with Executives' offices; Conducts charges and expense analysis and codes invoices for payment. Review and approves expense reports for teams as directed by the President. Creates and monitors annual Budget and re-forecast. Creates Expense Reports for reimbursement for Executives; reconciles travel expenses with company credit card. Reviews and approves time-off exceptions for all President direct-reports and serves as back-up approver for other Senior Officers as needed. Experience and Skills: Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways utilizing in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies and procedures. Ability to maintain confidence involving matters of a highly sensitive nature. Inspires trust and confidence in others. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts. Advanced MS Office skills. Additional experience with Workday and Concur preferred. Strong research, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to determine a course of action based on comprehensive professional knowledge or technical guidelines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal to deal effectively with internal and external contacts. Education: Required knowledge and skills would typically be acquired through vocational and technical training beyond high school plus 6 to 10 years of related experience specialized in working with senior level executives. For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible. $81,498 - $110,262/year Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
