About the role: Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week. Your responsibilities will include: Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations (including QSE and ISO Standards). Has in-depth knowledge of safety principles, hazards, and requirements. Participates in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process. Comply with all Boston Scientific quality requirements and procedures. Performs routine and complex equipment setup. Owns corrective, preventive, and calibration maintenance tasks. Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures. Work with other technicians and engineers on process improvement. Some experience of project execution. Work with production and engineering peers to understand line critical equipment and maintain critical spares to quickly repair line down. Required qualifications: 3 years of experience High school diploma/degree/equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience. Prefer qualifications: Associate's Degree in a related field with 3 years of experience Robotics/Automation equipment support experience Electrical test background/experience Manufacturing troubleshooting experience (PMs, calibrations, fixturing) Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
