Production Inspector
The Production (In Process Quality Control "IPQC") Inspector is responsible for day-to-day final quality control inspection in the production process and ensuring that production metrics are met. The Production Inspector will focus on defect prevention of the final product. The Lead Inspector for In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) plays a key leadership role within the production quality team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily IPQC inspections, ensuring the highest standards of defect prevention, and supporting the team in meeting production and quality goals. Beyond supervising inspections, this role actively drives continuous improvement initiatives, promotes best practices, and helps maintain a strong quality culture throughout the production process. What You'll Do: Inspection Area Setup Tool/Equipment setup verification (torque spec, ESD control, etc.) SOP verification 6S actions, knowledge and procedures Monitor the Quality of Output Perform visual inspection of 100% of final products. Identify issues and corrective actions on a real-time basis Create a report for each final product inspected Perform Audits based on the request of leader Issue Resolution Escalate issues impacting the production process and communicate to: Lead Supervisor Necessary departments What You Bring: High School Diploma or higher 2+ years of relevant work experience Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task Attention to details with high focus on Quality and Process / Product Improvement Possess a high level of integrity and strong work ethic Requires the ability to bend, twist, pull, lift and stand for extended periods of time Capable of lifting a minimum of 30lb ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $41,600 and $51,822 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
