Four (2-4) years of professional work experience in the assigned specialty area or data analytics projects with responsibility for providing analytical services to a variety of businesses. Preferred: Experience in Data Science Equivalency: Six

Eight (6-8) years of progressively professional work experience in the assigned specialty area or data analytics with responsibility for providing services to a variety of business environments. The City assesses one (1) year of work experience to be equivalent to one (1) year of education. Previous experience working in public sector or with government data is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar certification preferred. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Nevada state driver's license, and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record. NCIC Certification required within six (6) months of hire/reclassification. Failure to obtain and maintain this certification will result in non-confirmation of appointment.
