We are seeking a driven and experienced Large Commercial and Industrial Sales Executive to join our team at NextEra Energy Services. This role will focus on developing and executing an organic pipeline of new natural gas, power and renewables business opportunities within our deregulated markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving extensive sales growth and building strong relationships with large commercial and industrial clients. Key Responsibilities: Business Development:
Identify and pursue new natural gas, power and renewables business opportunities within deregulated markets to expand NextEra Energy Services' customer base. Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales target goals. Create customized proposals and presentations to showcase the value of NextEra Energy's energy solutions to potential clients. Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with large commercial and industrial clients, acting as the primary point of contact. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Build and maintain positive, upbeat relationships with team members, leadership and all NextEra colleagues. Market Awareness and Expertise:
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape within deregulated markets. Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies. Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics. Use CRM tools to manage customer information and sales progress, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date records. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on large commercial and industrial clients. Extensive natural gas, power and renewable experience preferred. Strong understanding of deregulated energy markets and regulatory environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Upbeat, positive demeanor with "team-centric" focus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
