Location: 1705 Midwest Drive Plainfield, IN 46168 Base Rate Per Hour: $21.40 plus $0.50 shift differential per hour. Shift: 2nd Hours: Mon -Fri, 3pm

11pm (Starting times and hours may vary depending on coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especially during holidays.) Job Summary/Job Duties: The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, picking and distributing material and products within establishment. Responsibilities include reading production schedules, transporting materials, sorting and placing items, filling requisitions, assembling customer orders, marking materials, opening containers, recording amounts, weighing or counting items, driving material handling equipment, keeping work area clean, storing supplies, following safety instructions, reporting injuries, taking photos, using computers, climbing tanks, performing cycle counts, and supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives. Mandatory overtime may be required. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required. Previous experience with Oracle or similar WMS system; a minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse position; previous forklift experience is preferred. Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, driving, using hands, climbing, stooping, kneeling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, lifting, carrying, and working at heights. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office areas but moderate on the warehouse floor. Temperature is ambient and impacted by seasonal changes. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
