Orthopaedic DME Technologist
The Orthopaedic Technologist/DME staff person is responsible for assisting in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management. Education
HS Diploma or GED, Completion of Orthopedic Technician Training Program preferred. Experience
At least one (1) year full-time work experience in a hospital, clinic or office setting; working directly in the treatment of orthopedic patients preferred but not required. Licensure/Certification
BOC certification must be obtained within one year. ROT certification preferred. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Possess knowledge of healthcare field, medical specialty and medical terminology. Possess knowledge of EHRs.
