Job Summary: Lead the Maintenance Fabrication Team supporting the Bayport Window Plant Fabrication and Extrusion Operations. Primary Responsibilities: Lead the Bayport maintenance team, consisting of electrical and mechanical technicians, specialized trades, planners, buyers and reliability engineering technicians Lead a proactive maintenance culture focused on planned preventive and predictive activities that increase equipment reliability and improve operations output and efficiency. Lead maintenance initiatives, problem solving efforts and projects that drive plant %Uptime. Actively manage, implement, monitor and/or contribute toward programs intended to increase the uptime of assets. Such programs include, but are not limited to, Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centered Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, and FMEA. An active and participating member of the Operations Tier Management System, and ensuring adequate maintenance representation within the Tier System. Manage/Lead the maintenance organization to excellence in the areas of: Safety, Quality, Cost and Productivity using Lean Manufacturing/World Class Manufacturing methodologies and TPM. Establish a work environment characterized by mutual trust and respect, open and honest communication and a culture of personal development, coaching and teamwork. Qualifications and Skills: BS degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Applicants not meeting this attribute must show prior experience sufficient to demonstrate equivalent capabilities. 7-10 years manufacturing experience, minimum 3 years in technical or operational management positions Strong technical aptitude Demonstrated budget planning and management skills Possess a high degree of training and coaching skills, as well as excellent leadership and motivational skills Strong interpersonal and people skills, along with strong communication skills (written and verbal) Experience with TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, 5S and Lean Methodologies.
