IP & Brand Research Conduct in-depth research on emerging and established brands, trademarks, and IP across apparel, lifestyle, design, and media categories. Analyze industry and consumer trends to identify whitespace opportunities and cultural shifts relevant to brand development. Support valuation assessments and brand audits to inform potential acquisitions, licensing, or internal brand growth. Business Development & Partnership Strategy Identify potential brand partners, IP acquisition targets, and strategic licensing opportunities. Research and evaluate target brands and assets based on ownership, brand equity, reputation, and strategic fit. Support the creation of deal briefs, partnership strategy decks, and internal presentations for senior stakeholders. Strategic Intelligence & Internal Enablement Maintain a living database of market intelligence: brand profiles, competitor tracking, M&A activity, and retail/e-commerce movement. Monitor and evaluate select venture investments made (or to be made) by the Company. Collaborate with varying levels of internal brand, legal, and strategy teams to support IP due diligence and deal execution. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Management, Law, Marketing, or a related field. 36 years of experience in research, licensing, IP management, brand strategy, or business development within fashion, lifestyle, or media sectors. Solid understanding of brand/IP ownership models including licensing, joint ventures, and direct brand incubation. Familiarity with research tools such as USPTO, Crunchbase, PitchBook, WGSN, SimilarWeb, and trademark databases. Strong analytical and communication skills with experience synthesizing complex insights into executive-ready outputs. Preferred Traits Highly organized, detail-driven, and self-motivated. Commercial thinker with the ability to see long-term value in intangible assets. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, creative, and commercial stakeholders. Primary Location Salary Range:

$115,000 - $135,000
