Human Resources Assistant
The Human Resources Assistant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position provides a variety of administrative and clerical support functions to ensure the department runs efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities include performing data entry for various reports, distributing monthly performance review reminders to department directors, completing employee termination checklists, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments. The HR Assistant also assists with recruitment and onboarding efforts, such as posting jobs, coordinating interviews, and preparing new hire paperwork. In this role, it is essential to maintain patient and employee confidentiality in accordance with established policy. Additional HR-related duties will be assigned as needed by the Director of Human Resources. Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Requirements: Associate's degree preferred Prior HR experience preferred Experience with HRIS systems is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational and communication skills Demonstrated customer service skills; must be professional when interacting with employees, visitors, agencies, and the general public Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
