As an Armed Security Officer - Financial Site in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to respond to situations with professionalism and composure while operating a vehicle as needed. You will interact with employees, visitors, and clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time: Monday 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM Wednesday 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM Friday 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM Saturday 08:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the financial institution environment. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site procedures. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during critical situations. Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines for armed security-related operations. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required. At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required. Previous firefighting experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
