The Work: Logistics Support - This a Sr Material Planner position based in Patuxent River MD. The Sr Material Planner will be responsible for utilization of reliability data, usage trends, aircraft maintenance manuals and other tools to determine recommended replenishment of spare parts required to support future aircraft and Repair of Repairables (RoR) demands. Will support other program planners and customer Item Mangers in forecasting, planning, and tracking of all NRFI and RFI inventory. Will utilize methods and techniques that obtain the highest level of asset availability within the closed loop inventory support system. Will communicate with Material Planners and Maintenance on efforts including Intermediate and Depot (I&D) Level requirements for kitting, order placement, status, and reporting. Will act as liaison with supply chain and other supporting departments in expediting part procurement and RoR turnaround times in support of critical program requirements. Sr Material Planner will also process inventory transactions utilizing Company's and Customer's computer systems to maintain location and accuracy of Customer's inventory and review the supply system for accuracy and completeness. Recommend alternate solutions to satisfy requirements when required parts and material are not immediately available. Assist in preparation of parts for shipment between Sikorsky Supply and the customer's facility utilizing various computer systems and methods. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180.
