Medtronic Diabetes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Diabetes Transformation Project Management Office (PMO). This critical role will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of key initiatives within our broader diabetes transformation program, aimed at improving patient outcomes, enhancing care delivery, and optimizing operational efficiency. Typical transformation projects often involve working closely with cross-functional teams such as, business, finance, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment, track progress, manage risks, and drive successful program completion. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. Our Transformation team will play a pivotal role in the journey to become a standalone company. You will work onsite in Northridge, CA (hybrid, 3 days week). Primary Responsibilities:
Program Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain detailed transformation project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Oversee the execution of transformation program initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Support ideation generation for potential transformation initiatives Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, operations, finance, and commercial. Effectively communicate initiative updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders. Partner with engagement leaders to manage onboarding and training programs for new team members. Support the creation of regular updates to senior leadership Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed Transformation Tool Management: Oversee data hygiene, manage user accounts, access and help ensure accurate and up-to-date information for transformation initiatives Budget Management: Develop and manage transformation program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitor budget variances and provide regular financial reports Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources (human, financial, and technological) effectively to support transformation program initiatives. Work with resource managers to ensure appropriate staffing levels Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program progress and measure success. Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks and dashboards to track KPIs, ensure data accuracy, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making across transformation initiatives Change Management: Implement effective change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption during program implementation. Support user adoption and training efforts Collaboration & Communication: Foster a collaborative and communicative environment within the program team and across stakeholder groups by managing communication programs involving rewards and recognition. Facilitate regular program meetings and ensure clear and consistent communication Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the program and contribute to the development of best practices for program management Compliance & Quality: Ensure all program activities comply with relevant regulations and quality standards Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration, information technology) with 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience Or, advanced degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration, information technology) with 3+ years of Project/Program Management experience Nice to Have: SCRUM Master certification PMP Certification Expertise in SCRUM and Agile methodologies, with a track record of successful project delivery Proficiency with analytics tools, processes, and frameworks (e.g., data visualization, predictive modeling, machine learning) Strong experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and PowerPoint Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data management platforms Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience in managing enterprise-wide analytics platforms or data transformation projects Ability to navigate and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment Ability to use discretion when handling confidential information What We Offer: A collaborative and inclusive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Competitive compensation and benefits package The chance to work on impactful projects that drive business innovation Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$110,400.00 - $165,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
