Train new employees in job responsibilities of all operations personnel. Conduct new hire training programs emphasizing the importance of safety, GMP learning basic machine and packing operations. Position includes developing, revising and upkeep of job training documents and work instructions. Essential Responsibilities and Duties and Expectations

All written and verbal communication must be presented in a professional manner

Converse with new hires in a professional manner that gains respect while training them on proper Amcor procedures

Refresher training for all operators as needed

Partner with production coordinators and managers to ensure ongoing proper training of operators to reach levels within time requirements

Coordinate with department managers/supervisors to align procedures and schedule training

Identify gaps in training methods and procedures

Train in pharmaceutical culture and continuous improvement mindset

Engage with teams to optimize and standardize processes

Train in GMP, GDP, basic cleaning procedures, 5S and current good manufacturing practices

Mentor operators for training/shadowing and ensure quality training is provided

Train in proper PPE

Train for safety first with proper LOTO procedures

Train on how to troubleshoot machines and alarms

Train on Amcor standard for quality and operations

Ensure new employees are familiar with plant facilities and walkways

Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree or professional or technical certificate preferred.

Previous training experience preferred.

3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment or a combination of education and experience.
