OB Technician I

An OB Technician I performs specific tasks related to patient care in the Obstetrical Unit as delegated by a Registered Professional Nurse. Assists in the nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient, functions as a member of the sterile team in preparing for intra-operative care, assisting the surgeon and maintaining the sterile field. Type: Full Time (72 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits) Typical Hours: Night Shift, 12 hours/shift, weekend rotation Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent One of the following is required: - Successful and proof of completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum that meets the minimum training standards as outlined in 19 CSR 30-20.125 OR - Is certified as a nursing assistant as defined in section 198.082, RSMo.
