Open Rank Non-Tenure Track Professor Positions
The School of Nursing invites applications for full-time Open Rank Non-Tenure Track Professor positions with anticipated start date in July 2025, or until the position is filled. The candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence and commitment to supporting faculty, staff, and student environments. The candidate should possess a terminal degree in Nursing or related field, or matriculate into a terminal degree program before or immediately following appointment. We welcome candidates with interdisciplinary expertise who is capable of leading and collaborating with researchers at Bouv and across Northeastern University. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, engaging in scholarship, and participating in departmental, college, and university service. Qualified candidates must have expertise in, or a demonstrated commitment to, working with diverse student populations and/or in a culturally diverse work and educational environment. Specific expertise of interest include: Simulation Curricular Design and Instruction Pathopharmocology Programmatic Quality and Compliance Prelicensure Clinical Placements Qualifications Minimum of MS Nursing degree or related field by appointment start date. Evidence of an established area of research and scholarship, teaching excellence, and demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment. Preference for the eligibility for RN licensure in Massachusetts. Visiting NTT Faculty: $99,000 - $116,000 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
