Job Description Job Title: Anesthesiologist Assistant Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Anesthesia Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8x5 Days Hours per Shift: 10 Hours
Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Licensed or eligible for licensure Certifications: ACLS, PALS
Must-Have: - Graduated with a Master's degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program - Passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification
Description: This position requires working Monday through Friday. Shifts run from 07:00 to 17:00. The schedule includes 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. There is no weekend work or call duty. Responsibilities include a combination of inpatient and outpatient care. The role primarily involves working with adult patients. Common procedures include orthopedic surgery, general surgery, endoscopy, and ophthalmology. Occasional pediatric cases may also be part of the duties. Candidates must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications. Licensure in the region is necessary, or eligibility for licensure must be demonstrated. Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program is required. Successful completion of the certifying examination is essential.
