Finance Manager
The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the company's Finance Department to achieve compliance with requirements established by local regulators, the Company's regional finance office, and Statutory Accounting Principles. Key responsibilities include: Review and analyze reinsurance contracts. Manage and participate in monthly and quarterly accounting functions including cession analysis, manual reinsurance calculations, and adjusting journal entries. Recover reinsurance balances due to the company. Review cash flow projection on a weekly basis and determine the amount of cash to be transferred to investments. Collaborate with Annual Statement preparation. Prepare quarterly income tax calculation estimates. Collaborate directly with tax calculation estimates. Prepare audited financial statements. Prepare annual capital plan, and quarterly capital solvency calculation. Perform quarterly balance sheet fluctuation analysis. Coordinate external and internal audit work. Responsible for calculation and compliance with catastrophic reserve. Prepares and file forms 480 to the Treasury Department. Investigate and settle debts with the Treasury Department. Support Central America Business. Review budget and timely payment of solicitation. Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.
